Rosh Hashana 5787 ends at nightfall on Sunday 13 September 2026, and the roads out of Uman fill that night and through Monday and Tuesday. The same drivers who brought tens of thousands of people in are trying to take them all out again inside about forty-eight hours, so a seat going out is scarcer than a seat coming in.

Book the return at the same time as the outbound leg if you can. Nothing has to be paid to hold it, and the earlier we know your flight, the easier it is to have a car free at the hour you actually need one.

The allowance above already assumes a slow crossing, but the queue out of Ukraine is reported separately from the queue in, and in the days after the festival the two look nothing alike. Check it before you leave and tell your driver what you see.

How early should the driver collect me?

We work back from your flight: the drive at its slow end, plus three hours for check-in. Send us the flight number when you book the return and we set the pickup time for you — you do not have to do this arithmetic yourself.

Everyone leaves Uman on the same day. Can you still take me?

Yes, but book the return early. The two days after the festival are the busiest of our year, and cars going out are scarcer than cars coming in. Tell us your flight as soon as you have it, even if the date is still weeks away.

What happens if the border queue is long on the way out?

The allowance above already assumes a slow crossing. Check the live outbound queue before you leave and tell your driver what you see — if it is unusually bad, we bring the pickup forward or route you to a different crossing.

Can several of us share the car back?

Yes. A shared return costs each passenger a fraction of a private car, and after Rosh Hashana there are plenty of people leaving on similar flights. Ask about a shared ride when you book.

Do you pick up from anywhere in Uman?

Anywhere in the city, including Pushkina Street and the streets around the tziyun. Give us the address when you book and the driver will be there — being collected at your door matters more on the way out than on the way in.
